About Statistics Rocks

Welcome to the Statistics Rocks project led by Dr Carolina Kuepper-Tetzel at the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK.

This is an ongoing student project with the goal to build a statistics knowledge database. Each year, Master students will generate answers to statistical concepts for their final assignment of their Advanced Quantitative Methods course. The best answers will be featured on this website. The objective is to add hands-on explanations of statistical concepts from year to year and to generate a useful resource for other students or people interested in learning statistics.

Students are asked to be creative and produce answers that will allow others to easily understand statistical concepts and to make them stick. Enjoy!
